Journey back in time through 600 kilometers of the Yukon’s unspoiled wilderness. Beginning in Whitehorse, the Yukon’s capital, the journey passes through the traditional lands of our four First Nation partners and ends in Dawson City, centre of the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898.

This season we are completing construction of the last of our three wilderness lodges along the river, developing and testing our programs, recruiting and training staff and working out the “bugs” in preparation for a full tour program in 2009.
We are seeking a very special group of customers, our 2008 Patrons, who will make a real contribution to the success of our company, by being the first to travel with us and helping us in the development of our product. It will be the experience of a lifetime.
Our Patrons will make the full wilderness river journey from Whitehorse to Dawson, experience the real Yukon, lodge-to-lodge comfort, private cabins with ensuite baths and fine dining, all in spectacular wilderness settings. The journey will be a little more “rustic” than it will be in future years: Patrons will see final construction activities and be a part of staff training, development of activities and cultural programming and enjoy the fine-tuning of our menus featuring international and local cuisine — the very things on which we will be inviting feedback from our Patrons.

When we are market ready and fully operational in 2009, the list price of the Great River Journey tour will be $7,800 per person. This summer, our Patrons will have a unique offer of $3,900.00 per person in June and July and $5,800.00 in August and September. Here’s the best part: Our relationship with our Patrons will extend long after their first tour. In years to come, we will be developing meaningful opportunities and special ways for our Patrons to stay involved including substantially discounted rates for their family and close friends.
